The company started as Ozaki Hifuku (Apparels) Co. Ltd. in 1958 catering to the apparels market in the United States.
In 1973, ShorinjiKenmpo dogi (shaolin temple martial arts clothing) manufacturing started to market hoi (monk's habit), obi (sash) and samue (Buddhist temple working clothes) to become an exclusive manufacturer of ShorinjiKenmpo (shaolin marital arts) products.
The company conducted business jointly at Touryouso (Touryou manor house), widely known as a training camp, from 1973 to 1996.
The company was divided into the current marketing company Ozaki Co., Ltd. and manufacturing company Sewing Ozaki Co., Ltd. in 1985. |
